Dazzled Kid

Thanks to everybody coming out to the fall tour! We had a great time and you’ve made it quite special. Some special things coming up still:

On the 20th November we’re playing the songbird festival in Rotterdam. This is a brand new festival where we will be performing acoustically alongside Maria Mana, Racoon and Pete Murray.

A few days later on the 25th November I’ll be playing solo acoustic at the Boerderij, Zoetermeer as part of Popblik, an interactive talk show / interview, and obviously playing music.

After a fun and busy festival summer it’s already kick-off time for a couple of Dazzled Kid club shows in Holland. No lack of inspiration the last months, so I have been quite busy writing new songs, and can’t wait to play some of them live for you. The Dazzled Kid line up is still the same (although for some nights I’ll be bringing a special guest) and if you haven’t seen us play live you can check out this footage from Stronger at Pinkpop festival . I really love playing with these guys….

It’s been a full on year up til now and I wanted to thank all of you for the support. To celebrate, I decided to take a quick holiday to Cuba. Was great and I highly recommend the rest of you go if you get the chance. Take the most expensive car insurance when renting a car, you might need it, I did ;-)…

A week and a bit ago we ended the Dazzled Kid Spring Tour in a sold out Melkweg Amsterdam. A great way to end the tour and definitely one of the highlights, thanks to everyone coming out…! We will be returning to Amsterdam by closing this year’s Bevrijdings Festival on May 5th on the Dam square. We’ll also return to Utrecht on June 18th at this year’s De Beschaving festival.

This Thursday: 3FM awards time! Dazzled Kid is nominated as “best alternative artist” and we’re giving away 5×2 tickets to the award show in Amsterdam. The only thing you have to do is vote for Dazzled Kid and post on facebook or twitter that you voted. Send a screenshot or a link to mgmt@dazzledkid.com and they will pick out the winners. The winners will be emailed before Wednesday morning 11AM.

Saturday April 16th is Recordstore day. To celebrate, we’ll be performing at the following independent record stores: Velvet Amersfoort (14:30), Fame Amsterdam (18:00) and Velvet Leiden (20:30).
