Tadaa! 2011… January 2nd to be precise. Chilled a couple of days with friends/family/loved ones, feels good, although a little longer would’ve been nice. Dazzled Kid duty calls though: the last couple of months were kind of crazy recording, mixing and mastering, and now straight in to rehearsals for the first live-shows. 2010 has been a bit of a weird year, quite a ride. A lot of music (nice) but also a lot of wondering and wandering (sometimes nice) and not having a clue what the hell I was doing (not nice for control-freaks). But we’re here now, and at least thirteen songs came out of it for your listening pleasure…

I was just taking a break from writing the thank-you notes for the artwork, and it’s crazy how many people helped me out lately, and thinking of that makes me think about the previous years, and it’s even more. That’s my being thankful hippie moment at the beginning of the year. I will try and keep sharing those to a minimum. So let’s end with a commercial note (drumroll): Fire Needs Air is the brand-new-sparkling-fresh album by Dazzled Kid and will be available in Dutch stores the 28th of January (prodent-smile) you can already check out the video for the first single Embrace or download Yes No maybe for free (cymbal crash).
